The small-sized crawler mini excavator Bobcat E10 is one of the lightest in its model range. Despite its modest size, it has the same set of functions as the larger models. The cabin of the mini excavator can be both open and closed.

Technical specifications

The maximum depth of excavation by a mini excavator is 1.82 m. This is quite enough to perform a wide range of earthmoving operations. The Kubota D722-E2B-BCZ-6 diesel engine with a capacity of 10 hp provides a speed of 2.1 km/h in first gear and 3.1 km/h in second. The maximum angle of rotation of the cabin is 67 degrees to the right and 64 degrees to the left from the central position. The operational weight of the Bobcat E10, combined with attachments and the ROPS system, which prevents tipping, is approximately 1.2 tons. The capacity of the hydraulic system is 20 l/min. The width of the sliding undercarriage in a compact state is 0.71 m, in an expanded one – 1 m.

Scope of application

The small size of the Bobcat E10 makes it possible to transport it to the place of work even in the trailer of a passenger car. The low pressure of the tracked undercarriage on the support platform is only 29.7 kPa. Combined with excellent maneuverability and cross-country ability, this allows the excavator to be used in almost any work and in the most inaccessible places: in basements, in subway tunnels, on the floors of apartment buildings, in ports. In addition, by installing a hydraulic hammer, you can use E10 to destroy various buildings or roadways.

Functional features

The E10 has a zero tail drift index, so the cabin is able to turn when the tracks are stationary without colliding with nearby objects. A dump can be used as an additional support during earthmoving operations, so that the depth of excavation can be increased. In addition, the dump is designed to move heavy and oversized objects, as well as to level the soil.

If you lift the excavator body on the blade and boom, you can narrow the width of the span between the tracks. This feature allows you to install equipment even on very narrow sites.
